when she comes to town

i feel like i could explode

maddy's coming over before her flight gets in and we're gonna bake lots of delicious cookies to welcome her with. and then we'll have a girl's night, as the rest of these wonderful nine days will be.

matt came home yesterday and is leaving again tomorrow - i made dinner with him for his mom last night and watched movies and cuddled and today we got brueggs and went to emma's play, midsummer's night dream in chapel hill and got completely completely lost on the way back, ending up in beautiful farm country.

a few days ago i got insanely bored and decided to spend the day baking sugar cookies and cutting them out and decorating them. it took hours but it entertained me and proved a good way to spend a day. the decorating is totally abstract, mind ...
