if you believe, they put a man on the moon

lemme just rewrite this awesome dream I had not last night, but the night before that I happen to remember (actually, I can't really forget it):

I was with a group of people, not sure who, but definitely a group.
we were in some sort of star trek-star wars-desert land video game type thing and in a caravan of covered wagons, like on the oregon trail.
we were also being persecuted or something and so for whatever reason, we were all fleeing.
the enemy emperor captured all of us trying to escape, our huge long caravan, and he was more of this all-powerful voice that echoed throughout the desert and he was in this sort of space-pod and distributed all these papers to every person in the
caravan.
the papers actually turned out to be these long quizzes with about 6 multiple choice answers to each.
for us to be freed, we had to answer each question correctly on the quiz and it was a very, very long one.
an example of a question was, "in episode six, what was the emperor wearing on his right foot, above his shoe?" or "how many tentacles did the beast in the last scene of the first episode have?"
and of course there were so many different answers and we hadn't seen every episode and even if we had, the emperor picked these super obscure questions that he knew we'd get wrong, purposely. we all freaked and panicked and said "i dunno, it was either B- his star charm warrior shield or H- his amulet...but I'm not sure, oh god!"

and then I woke up.

it was absolutely hilarious and of course I told my mom and she said "wow, those standardized tests are really getting to you in an interesting way!"
it was great.

I leave for Athens tomorrow for my grandparents' 50th anniversary, and then drive straight from there to NCSA on sunday, where I'll be for a month for drama.

I have to pack all today and I have no clue where to begin. I have to cart it all to georgia and THEN to school of the arts. fabulous.

i went on another cross country run this morning and we ran to museum of life and science and i have been so sore, i limp, so of course i could barely run, but i did. now i'm suffering the consequences, hah. ah well, such is getting in shape for season (again...)

i'm pretty excited to finally be leaving and venturing out to school of the arts. i know absolutely nobody going, so it'll be an adventure, being stuck there for a month and metting new people (yeeeeeah!)
